The day after

My co-worker (a graphic designer) said I wasn't very creative. I agree. When it comes to carving pumpkins, I suck.

It looked much better in the dark. Really, it did.

But back to my lack of imagination ... I guess practice makes perfect. I used to tell Dan'l that the only way he's going to get good at something is if he practices every day. He groans and rolls his eyes, but I remind him about that time five years ago that he learned to skate. He practiced every day and learned how to skate (at least one of us knows).

Same thing goes for writing and coming up with ideas to write about. If you write daily, it'll be easier to write. Or at least that's what I've read and that's what I've been told. I usually write once a week.

However, this month I'm supposed to write every day. I'm afraid I'm going to run out of ideas. Fortunately, this is the time I start to panic about holidays, family, gifts, growing older and wasting time so there are plenty of topics. Let's just hope this month doesn't become one long venting session.

I think you're very creative. No one else at that hell hole tv station was able to come up with as many fun pranks to play on people as you were. No one else came up with fun names for drinks at lunch "Jamaican Jabari"....yummm. Don't shortchange yourself.

Yes, but you came up with the idea to switch the letter's on Glemm's keyboard! You are the master.
